This office supervises various student service areas of the College and insures an efficient, effective and smooth delivery of student services to the SCC students. 

Student Discipline

Cases involving discipline of students or any report of misconduct that involves the status of a student or affects the reputation of Saint Columban College, whether committed inside or outside the school, shall be subject to inquiry and investigation by the Dean of Student Affairs (DSA).

The Dean of Student Affairs, upon receipt of the complaint or report, shall determine whether such complaint is sufficient to warrant formal investigation. Thereafter, notice in writing to the respondent/s and their parents/guardians shall be given. The respondents shall, within one day from receipt of notice, manifest in writing his/her desire to attend in all cases where  the complaint or report is found sufficient to warrant as formal charge.

Offenses shall be referred to the Discipline Committee composed of the Dean of Student Affairs as Chairperson, three (3) faculty members recommended by the College Deans, the GRANSCIL vice - president as student representative. This committee shall recommend sanctions to the School President for such violations after due process.
