The College of Business Education of Saint Columban College proudly participated in the 3rd PCDEB Regional Student Business Summit and the 1st PCDEB Regional Faculty Development, Business Plan Competition, and Quiz Bee Competition, hosted by La Salle University’s College of Business and Accountancy on Friday, April 4, 2025, at the LSU-Ozamiz City Arts Center.
The Philippine Council of Deans and Educators in Business (PCDEB) Regional Business Summit, now on its third year, was designed to promote collaboration and knowledge-sharing among institutions in the Northern Mindanao region, including Saint Columban College, enhancing business education and entrepreneurial skills. This event was graced by hundreds of students from different institutions, as well as deans and educators in the business field.
During the summit, SCC attendees actively engaged in networking sessions and listened to keynote speeches that emphasized the importance of innovation and collaboration in business education. During the competition proper, SCC participants showcased their all-around skills, leading them to excel and achieve exceptional ranks in both the Quiz Bee and Business Plan Competitions.
The active involvement and remarkable achievements of Saint Columban College at the 3rd PCDEB Regional Student Business Summit and the 1st PCDEB Regional Faculty Development Event highlight the institution’s commitment to academic excellence and exemplify its dedication to fostering innovation and professional growth within the field of business education.
