SCLS holds 6th Academic Convocation, welcomes new law students

Saint Columban Law School (SCLS) kicked off its 6th Academic Convocation on June 28, 2025, at the Youth Development Center, warmly welcoming its newest batch of aspiring lawyers for the academic year 2025–2026.
 
In his opening message, Atty. Danny Valenzuela, LLM, Dean of SCLS, emphasized the vital role of legal education in nation-building and encouraged the incoming students to uphold integrity and perseverance throughout their law journey.
 
The ceremony featured a formal introduction of the law school’s administrators and faculty.
Continuing the hype, all Juris Doctor (JD) students also showed an impressive intermission numbers.
During the program, different heads from various departments took the stage to present the services and support systems available to students, these included academic advising, library and research services, and legal aid clinics aimed at enriching the law school experience.
 
SCLS continues to build its reputation as one of country’s top performing law school and premier institution for legal education, fostering future members of the bar grounded in justice, service, and excellence.
